Program 08.10. "From Ground Zero. The Untold Stories of Gaza. Part I." by Masharawi / Fund for Films & Filmmakers in Gaza (2024, 56min)

“From Ground Zero” is a collection of short films initiated by Palestinian filmmaker Rashid Masharawi in response to the events following the attacks of 7 October 2023.
This project brings together 22 filmmakers from Gaza, offering a cinematic perspective on what daily live and reality in Gaza means to its inhabitants since the last 365 days (www.masharawifilms.org/from-ground-zero/ and press documents Masharawi Fund).

“From Ground Zero” is currently being screened at film festivals and is not accessible to the public. Thanks to a connection created through one of the Ciné Résistance-collective members, the Masharawi Fund for Films&Filmmakers has kindly agreed to make this unique project accessible to our audience. Ciné Résistance will be screening “From Ground Zero. The Untold Stories of Gaza. Part I” on October 8th and “From Ground Zero. The Untold Stories of Gaza. Part II” on October 15th.
