Program 05.11. Talk and Discussion
with Sanad initiative team members Amal, Mai, Youssef and Ahmed

The Sanad Initiative has been active in Gaza for several years. On October 7th, four of the members of the Sanad Initiative were staying in Cairo, where they had been invited to an UN-congress to receive a prize for the volunteer-led development and community-based implementation of an innovative education program for children and women affected by domestic violence. Since then, these Sanad team members have been stranded in Cairo and have redirected their efforts towards meeting needs of Palestinians stranded in Cairo as well as supporting their genocide-affected people in Gaza from abroad.

The discussion with Sanad’s Cairo-team members will be held online. They will tell us about the situation of Gazans in Cairo and about their own personal journeys. The Gaza-team will contribute to the event through a video message.
